Mindset + Mastering + Mistakes = Maths
The intention of the maths curriculum at Hogarth Primary School is for children to become confident mathematicians with a secure understanding of concepts and skills. Following a mastery approach, our children will not only be able to solve calculations, but also reason mathematically and explain the concepts and processes behind their answers to questions.

The Science of Me, You, Everyone and Everything...
Our intentions of the Science curriculum at Hogarth Primary School are for children to develop an understanding of the world around them through exciting experiences and practical enquiry. In delivering the National Curriculum content, we intend to foster in children an interest in how things work alongside the excitement of finding these things out. We wish to inspire, engage and encourage children in our Science teaching and learning.
